If you do not work hard so as to overload your muscles, you will not succeed in stimulating your muscles to grow. If you want your body frame to be massive it is a must that you use heavy weights when you are training.

There are two things which could make you fail to gain weight. The first one is performing excessive aerobic exercises. Aerobic exercises will consume plenty of calories which are needed if you want to increase your body weight. When you are performing aerobic exercises you should not extend them for long since this will only be promoting catabolism. The second thing which could make you not to gain weight is failing to rest. Your body removes growth hormones as you are resting and not when you are training.
